This my motley collection of stuff. What's here:

• Photos: our collection of family photos. The photos need a user name and password of guest and guest to keep bots out.
• Rides: Hampshire and other mountain bike rides with GPX track files.
• View GPX: upload your own GPX track files from your GPS to view them in OS, Google, and French IGN maps.
• Elevation code: PHP & Rust code for obtaining SRTM and UK Ordnance Survey Terrain 50 elevation data.
• Blog: mainly hot air.

I also have a sister site: https://solentmaps.uk. This has replaced the old Map Search page which used to be here. The new site has loads more features, give it a whirl! We also have lots of videos on YouTube.

This is an old-fashioned website like Grandma used to make. That means there's no data collecting and no ads. However, some pages may use temporary local storage features—more details.

This site has been running since 2004. These days it's running on a little Debian server wandering around somewhere in the cloud—like Wordsworth, but without the daffodils.
